Here's the description of the developers: It is easy to learn (because of two tutorial campaigns), there a many maps and scenarios, lots of different units and buildings, a single player and a multiplayer mode, a very nice soundtrack and last but not least the game is available in many languages. "Widelands" is a great "Settlers 2" clone.
